Welcome to Mels 99 Woodcutting Guide!
OK were are going to start by buying all the axes you need.
Required Levels:
Bronze - 1
Iron - 1
Steel - 5
Black - 10
Mithril - 21
Adamant - 31
Rune - 41
Dragon - 61
And now head to draynor by typing ::draynor into public chat.
Here you will start cutting, start with this normal tree.
You can bank your logs easily by typing ::bank to open your bank.
Or you can use your logs for Firemaking ([URL="http://scythx.com/showthread.php?t=810"]view FM guide[/URL])
Or Fletching ([URL="http://scythx.com/showthread.php?t=811"]view fletch guide[/URL])
Chop regular logs until you hit 15 woodcutting, dont forget to upgrade your axe!
Now for oak trees, uh, this is a little more tricky than it seems...
If you click on an oak tree and you arent receiving logs; you aren't on the WEST SIDE OF THE TREE. If you arent on that side chopping oaks will NOT WORK!
Congratulations you are now level 30 woodcutting! Now to move on to bigger, and better XP!
Just below the bank you are beside, is a bunch of willow trees.
Do this to level 45 woodcutting.
Now to chop maple trees. Click the Catherby teleport in your spellbook.
Then follow this map: and chop until level 60 woodcutting.
Congratulations you are now 60 Woodcutting, if you are lucky enough to have a dragon axe, you can now use it.
Time to chop Yew trees at edgeville. Type ::edge into chat to teleport there. Chop yews and Bank/Burn/Fletch them until level 75 woodcutting.
Now this is gonna take a long time, you are going to cut magic trees all the way to level 99.
Magic trees are just east of catherby bank.
Teleport back to Catherby and go here:
(if you are smart you will notice that every type of tree is also here =[) )
